Some species of birds nourish their young by swallowing, say, the fish they have caught, and then bringing it back up when the chick touches their beak in the right place. Regurgitation involves mixing something of ourselves with what we give out.
Jesus said, “I am the bread of life.” In what ways can we nourish ourselves on him? When he instituted the sacrament of bread and wine, he said, “Do this in remembrance of me.” Doing this, where does it take you?
Reading the back of a pizza box, I found in large red letters at the bottom: “Stop reading. Start sharing.” Hmmm.
In physical exercise there is a measure of effort, the rate of perceived exertion, from one to ten. What is our output level?
