Problems are more likely to be overwhelming when multiple kinds of problem are tangled together: uncertainty, disappointment, apparent defeat, the sheer difficulty of what is to be done, the immensity of the task, and the inexplicable in a situation. How do you learn the matching positive attitudes?

James Perry
Happy New Year to all of my spiritual brothers and sisters. Sometimes the educational and training experiences of this life can be overwhelming. But even though they may be overwhelming physically, emotional, and intellectual, they can never overwhelm the moral and spiritual domains of our life, the citadel of the soul and the spirit.
These experiences are designed to actualize our latent moral and spiritual potentials. It requires a strong continuing stimulus to evolve the spiritual nature from the animal nature.
Trust and faith in the goodness of the heavenly Father will equip us to deal with whatever life sends down the pike; and this is true despite the emotional reactions that we may have towards such experiences. When we dry our emotional tears from the eyes of our soul, we shall clearly see those values that we need to safely negotiate the experience.
After all a small child cries when he receive life saving vaccinations, but the adult has not such reactions. He understands.
Maintain the faith and trust!
Dr. Perry
